These terms govern your use of CaseTrack India. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. Please read the first three sections carefully — they describe what this app is and what it does not promise.
CaseTrack India is run 100% by artificial intelligence. Every case page, timeline entry, summary, plain-language explanation, category and translation on this app is discovered, written and published by automated AI systems with no human author. Nobody at CaseTrack India adds, writes or edits a case by hand, and no editor reviews a case before it is published. Automated systems can misread a report, merge two matters, miss a development, mistranslate a phrase or state something that is simply wrong.
Cases are assembled from publicly available reporting by news outlets on a maintained list of established Indian publications, and a case is normally published only when at least two independent outlets have reported the same matter. That is a check on sourcing, not a check on truth: it means two publications reported something, not that the reporting is accurate, current or complete. CaseTrack India does not investigate, verify facts independently, contact any party, or hold any court, police or government record. Always read the linked original reports, and treat the official court or police record as the only authoritative source.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. Everyone associated with CaseTrack India — its operators, its contributors and any other person or entity — accepts no responsibility and no liability whatsoever for the correctness, accuracy, completeness, timeliness or legality of any information shown, nor for any loss, damage, cost, claim or consequence of any kind arising from your use of, or reliance on, this app or anything in it. You use this app entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all liability is excluded.
Case details, statuses, hearing dates, identifiers such as FIR and CNR numbers, named parties and outcomes may be incorrect, incomplete, superseded or stale. A case that shows no recent activity has not necessarily stopped moving — it may simply not have been re-checked. Nothing here should be read as a statement of fact about any person or proceeding.
Nothing on CaseTrack India is legal advice, and using the app creates no lawyer-client or advisory relationship. Nobody behind CaseTrack India practises law, and no legal services, representation or consultation are provided through it. Do not make any legal, financial, employment, reporting or personal decision on the basis of anything shown here. Consult a qualified advocate about your own situation.
An arrest, an FIR, a charge or an ongoing proceeding is an allegation, not a finding of guilt. Every person named on this app is presumed innocent unless and until convicted by a competent court. Do not use this app to harass, defame, threaten, profile or take action against any person.
You may create an account with an email address and a password, or with Google. Both routes lead to the same account when they share an email address, so signing in with Google after registering by email returns you to your existing account. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your profile, follows and notifications.
How to delete your accountDo not scrape, bulk-download, resell or republish the contents of this app; do not attempt to breach, overload or interfere with it; do not submit unlawful, defamatory or abusive content in search requests, reports, comments or feedback; and do not use the app to build a profile of any individual. Access may be suspended or removed at any time, with or without notice.
Signed-in readers who follow a case may comment on it after accepting the community rules shown before their first comment. Those rules prohibit harassment, threats and hate speech; stating an allegation as established fact; naming or identifying a victim of a sexual offence or a child; posting anyone's personal information; sexual, violent or graphic content; and spam. Every comment carries a Report and a Block control. Reported comments are reviewed, and a comment reported by several readers is hidden automatically while it is. Comments that break the rules are hidden or removed and accounts that keep breaking them are suspended. Comments are public, and you remain responsible for what you write.
Every case page carries a report control. If a page names the wrong person, contains a factual error, is out of date or should be taken down, report it there. Reports are acted on automatically where the app can do so and are otherwise reviewed; a page reported as a serious problem by enough distinct readers is withheld from public view automatically while it is looked at.
CaseTrack India stores your email address, your display name, the cases you follow and save, your notification preferences and your activity dates, in order to run the app and send you the alerts you have asked for. Case content itself is drawn from public reporting. Notifications are sent only on the channels you have enabled, and you can turn any of them off in your profile settings at any time.
Read the full Privacy PolicyThe app is offered without any guarantee of availability, continuity or retention. Features, cases and data may change, be withheld or disappear at any time, and the service may be discontinued without notice.
These terms may be updated. Continuing to use CaseTrack India after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date above records when this page last changed.
