State vs Sonam Wangchuk — National Security Act Detention (Now Revoked)

Ladakh-based activist Sonam Wangchuk was detained under the National Security Act following protests in Leh in September 2025. The Central Government revoked his detention, and he was released from jail on 14 March 2026. Consequently, the Supreme Court disposed of the habeas corpus petition filed by his wife on 24 March 2026.
