In re: Detention of Neha Bora at RK Puram police station

AISA national president Neha Bora challenged a police notice requiring a 10,000 rupee peace bond following her detention on 16 October 2026. The Delhi High Court dismissed her petition on 23 October 2026 but ordered the Special Executive Magistrate to provide supporting documents. Following receipt of these documents on 24 October 2026, Bora formally refused to sign the bond, and further proceedings are scheduled for 29 October 2026.

On 2 May 2021, the Supreme Court of India assumed jurisdiction over pandemic-related management issues that traverse state boundaries, effectively encompassing the broader judicial response to the pandemic.
