Investigation into the death of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari

Following the death of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari in an alleged police encounter in Bhojpur, Bihar, family members and activists have demanded an independent investigation. The Supreme Court declined to entertain a PIL seeking a court-monitored CBI probe, granting the petitioners liberty to move the High Court, while the state CID has initiated an investigation into the incident.
