State of Andhra Pradesh vs CBI Director — Tirupati laddu adulteration probe

The Supreme Court has stayed an Andhra Pradesh High Court order concerning the CBI Director's appointment of an officer to investigate the Tirupati laddu ghee adulteration case. Separately, as reported on 10 September 2026, the Andhra Pradesh Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested TTD official Mendu Lokanadham for alleged disproportionate assets, and the Enforcement Directorate has initiated a probe into his finances.
