CBI vs Santosh Kumar and others — Bribery case

The Delhi High Court has directed central government authorities to allow office-bearers of the evicted Central Secretariat Club to access their former premises at the President's Estate to retrieve club records and belongings. The court granted the representatives a two-week window to complete the collection of items.

The Delhi High Court acquitted a man who had been convicted of sexually assaulting a minor. The court cited significant contradictions in the testimonies provided by the victim and her mother, as well as an absence of medical evidence to support the prosecution's case.

State vs Sharjeel Imam — 2020 sedition case

Sharjeel Imam was arrested in 2020 on charges including sedition and promoting enmity between groups. State vs 10 Accused — Red Fort Blast Case

The NIA has filed a 7,500-page chargesheet against 13 individuals regarding the November 2025 Red Fort vehicle-borne improvised explosive device blast. A Delhi court took cognisance of the chargesheet on 29 August 2026, which alleges a conspiracy called Operation Heavenly Hind aimed at overthrowing the government using AI tools, encrypted messaging, and manuals linked to AQAP. The Delhi High Court denied default bail to accused Jasir Bilal Wani on 3 September 2026.

A five-storey residential building collapsed in Satya Niketan on 6 September 2026, resulting in seven deaths and an investigation into illegal construction and culpable homicide. The building owner and his wife were remanded to judicial custody on 8 September 2026, while the owner's son, the building contractor, and an absconding PG operator who surrendered on 11 September 2026 were placed in police custody as of 12 September 2026. The Delhi High Court is monitoring the case under the direction of the Supreme Court.
