A Uttar Pradesh police constable assigned to the Dial 112 emergency response system was arrested for the alleged abduction, rape, and murder of a 10-year-old girl in Gorakhpur. The girl was reported missing after being taken from near the district hospital, leading to the discovery of her body and the subsequent arrest of the accused. The case is currently under trial before the POCSO court.

State vs Satendra — Murder and abduction of a 17-year-old girl

A 17-year-old girl was reported missing from the Majhola police station area in Moradabad. Her mother accused a resident of Bajpur, Uttarakhand, named Satendra, of abducting her. Following an investigation, the accused allegedly revealed that the girl had been murdered and her body buried in a forest.

State vs Balraj — Multiple homicides and sexual assault case

A Ghaziabad man is accused of a series of crimes spanning two decades, including a 2006 homicide, a 2017 double murder, and a 2026 rape-murder case. A 70-year-old woman and a 9-year-old boy were sexually assaulted and killed approximately 8 years prior to reporting. Balraj obtained bail in 2025 and was subsequently employed as a caretaker.

State vs 36-year-old man and two others — Abduction, rape, and attempted murder of six-year-old child

A 36-year-old man and two others allegedly abducted and raped a six-year-old child and attempted to murder her on 9 May 2025. While two of the accused were apprehended, the 36-year-old evaded arrest. The case relates to an incident occurring soon after the accused's acquittal by the Supreme Court.
