Change of land use scam — ED petition in Punjab High Court

The Enforcement Directorate is investigating an alleged land use scam involving the Suntec City project and Greater Mohali Area Development Authority irregularities. As of 23 September 2026, the agency expanded its probe with searches at 26 locations across Delhi, Mohali, and Chandigarh, following the questioning of former Punjab Chief Secretary Anurag Verma on 9 September 2026. The investigation, which involves allegations of forged documents and money laundering, follows a prosecution complaint filed against Ajay Sehgal on 20 July 2026.
