State vs Khyati Multi-Speciality Hospital management — PMJAY racket case

Management and doctors at Ahmedabad's Khyati Multi-Speciality Hospital are accused of conducting a racket to exploit the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana scheme. Following a state inquiry into patient deaths, the hospital was debarred from the scheme in November 2024. As of 15 May 2025, the Gujarat High Court rejected the bail plea of an accused doctor, while the hospital chairman was arrested on 18 January 2025.
