In re: Radial Road-2 tender process

A public interest litigation challenges the Rs 3,296-crore Radial Road-2 tender process in Telangana, with BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleging financial irregularities. The Telangana High Court refused to grant an interim stay on the tender process on 13 October 2026. Subsequently, the managing director of a participating firm formally questioned the tender evaluation process before the court on 15 October 2026.

A CBI special court in Hyderabad convicted former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and several others in the Obulapuram illegal mining case on 6 May 2025. On 11 June 2025, the Telangana High Court suspended the conviction and sentence against Gali Janardhan Reddy and granted bail to the involved parties.
