State vs C.T. Ravi — hate speech case

BJP MLC C.T. Ravi was booked for alleged hate speech after questioning the education levels of a mullah in Karnataka. As of 15 August 2026, the Karnataka High Court has granted him interim protection from arrest and directed authorities to refrain from taking coercive action against him.
