State vs Unknown Accused — Death of Anurag Bajpai

Police in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, arrested four individuals belonging to an interstate gang allegedly involved in a cyber-fraud scheme related to online gaming and betting. The authorities reported recovering 42 ATM and debit cards during the operation, which was conducted by a joint team comprising the Special Operations Group (SOG), surveillance units, and the Civil Line police station.

Dr. Satyaratna Dixit, a resident of Madiyaon, Lucknow, was arrested in Ahmedabad after allegedly staging a fake kidnapping. He is accused of orchestrating the ruse to evade pressure from individuals to whom he had failed to provide promised jobs in government departments such as the LDA, Lohia Institute, and PWD.

Eight persons were arrested on allegations of embezzlement of donations received at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The case involves accused persons including Ramashankar Yadav, Anukalp Mishra, Avinash Shukla, and others. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted to probe the matter, and the investigation has expanded to examine alleged bribes for appointments at the temple establishment.
