State vs. Shanu — Saharanpur honour killing case

Four individuals died and three others were injured after a speeding truck collided with an SUV parked on an overbridge in Varanasi. The victims were reportedly taking selfies while returning from a visit to the Vindhyachal temple in Mirzapur.

Following the alleged abduction of a minor girl, a violent clash involving stone-pelting and physical assault occurred in the Tahwarganj neighborhood of Shahjahanpur. During the altercation, a 50-year-old man named Ramesh, who was the uncle of the primary accused in the abduction, was beaten to death.

Police are investigating the deaths of five family members, including a couple and their three children, who were found dead at their home in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida. While initial reports suggest potential food poisoning following a meal of tea and noodles, authorities have registered a case accusing the mother-in-law and sister-in-law of murder in connection with an alleged property dispute involving 10 bighas of land.
