State vs drug trafficking accused — Ludhiana jail custody death

A prisoner, Rahul Kanwar, serving a life sentence for a double murder case, committed suicide by jumping into a burning kiln of a gasifier furnace at Bilaspur Central Jail in Chhattisgarh. The incident occurred on a Wednesday and resulted in the prisoner's death.
