CBI investigation into Madhya Pradesh Nursing College Scam

The Vyapam (Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board) examination scam involved widespread malpractices in recruitment and admission tests conducted during 2008–2013. The scam included manipulation of examination results, OMR answer sheet tampering, and bribery by candidates and VYAPAM officials. Multiple FIRs were registered and investigations transferred to CBI in 2015; trials continue in designated courts at Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Indore.

The Enforcement Directorate is investigating a recruitment scam involving the Karnataka Public Service Commission. Raids have been conducted at the Om Lakshmi Co-operative Society in Bidar district to probe financial transactions, and Basavaraj Kannale, alleged to be a kingpin in the case, has been granted temporary bail by the Karnataka High Court.

The Karnataka CID and Enforcement Directorate are investigating allegations of paper leaks, bribery, and illicit fund transfers involving the recruitment of veterinary officers and other KPSC appointments. The investigation includes scrutiny of financial transactions between middlemen and public officials.
