State vs SFI activists — Unlawful assembly and assault case at Sanskrit varsity
Two separate FIRs were registered against SFI (Student Federation of India) activists at a Sanskrit varsity campus following protests on August 13 and August 16, 2026. The charges include unlawful assembly, rioting, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, voluntarily causing hurt and grievous hurt, assault on women, and assault on public servants. The accused were subsequently granted bail by the court.
