Police in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, are investigating the deaths of 13 villagers reportedly linked to an illicit liquor trade since 26 September 2026. As reported on 27 October 2026, authorities have arrested 10 individuals, including a liquor supplier and two wine shop managers, and seized illicit liquor stock valued at 7.25 lakh rupees.
